Early this year (2019), I had the great pleasure of travelling to our Singapore office for our official launch party – held at a very impressive (and very high!) rooftop bar.
Despite the heat of Singapore, you will find yourself transfixed by this beautiful, futuristic city where gleaming buildings stand tall, topped by lush mini forests that give this concrete jungle a breath-taking touch of nature.
Day or night there’s something for everyone here. During the day, you can stroll along the sandy beaches of Sentosa, browse the various shopping centres, wander through the stunning ‘Gardens by the Bay’ or get your adrenaline fix at the Skyline Luge.
Throughout the city, its famously clean streets are adorned at almost every corner with a multitude of eateries and hawker centres – spoiling you for choice with delicious food, all at very good prices.
The gently vibrant nightlife holds many hidden gems to suit all. Fine dining restaurants, food centres and live music bars are but a few places on offer. I would recommend starting at places like Clarke Quay or the Marina Bay Sands, then see where the night takes you.
It is truly exciting to see Wadkins Associates develop a strong presence in this growing shipping hub of the east. Singapore is a remarkable place that can offer you so much in both your professional and personal life. I can see why we have been kept so busy with people wanting to move there – and look forward to helping others make the move in future.
