Senior Claims Executive

Wadkins Associates is working in collaboration with a long-standing client to appoint a Senior Claims Manager to join its London office.

Our client is a leading P&I insurer with a strong reputation for providing high-quality cover and commercially focused advice to an established global membership. This role requires a solid understanding of shipping-related incidents and disputes, with responsibility for managing a portfolio of FD&D and P&I claims.

The successful candidate will join a team handling a broad range of contentious shipping matters on behalf of shipowner members. The role offers exposure to complex and varied disputes across the maritime sector, providing an opportunity to further develop technical expertise while working closely with members, lawyers and industry stakeholders.

This is a senior appointment within the team. In addition to managing claims, the role will involve supporting and mentoring junior colleagues, assisting with internal training initiatives, and responding to general enquiries from members.

Our client is seeking a qualified shipping lawyer with 5+ years’ PQE, with experience handling FD&D matters, gained either within a P&I Club or in private practice.
