Wadkins Associates are working with a top-tier international law firm to assist with their search for a Corporate Practice Director in New York.

This is a senior leadership role supporting a sophisticated transactional practice, with responsibility across practice operations, resource management, talent development, recruitment, knowledge and innovation.

Key areas of focus will include:

• Strategic leadership: Act as a trusted advisor to practice leadership, helping shape operational strategy and how the group works.
• People and talent: Lead resource allocation, associate development and recruitment across the practice.
• Innovation and operational improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through resource management, technology and AI, while overseeing key practice support functions.

We are looking to speak with experienced individuals from practice management, legal operations or senior operational leadership roles within sophisticated corporate law practices. The ideal candidate will have relevant legal practice experience and will be hold either a J.D.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $295,000–$345,000. Offers depend on a range of factors, including the successful candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications and relevant market considerations. The position also offers an excellent benefits package and is eligible for a performance-related bonus.
