Leveraged Finance Associate

Wadkins Associates are partnering with an elite US law firm to support the continued growth of its market-leading Leveraged Finance practice in London.

This top-tier firm is widely recognised for its strength across the full spectrum of leveraged finance, advising premier private equity sponsors, private credit funds, and leading financial institutions on complex, high-value transactions. With a strong transatlantic platform, the firm is consistently involved in many of the most high-profile and innovative deals in the European market.

The opportunity sits within the firm’s Leveraged Finance group, where you will gain exposure to both sponsor and lender-side mandates. You will advise private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as direct lenders, banks, and institutional investors, on a broad range of matters including leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, refinancings, and recapitalisations. The work is often cross-border and offers exposure to sophisticated deal structures across the capital stack.

We are keen to speak with England & Wales or other common law qualified lawyers with 2–5 years’ PQE and strong experience in leveraged finance.
