Leveraged Finance Associate

Wadkins Associates are partnering with an elite US law firm to support the growth of its Banking & Finance practice in London, with a focus on sponsor-side lending.

This top-tier firm is widely recognised for its market-leading finance platform, advising premier private equity sponsors, credit funds, and financial institutions on complex, high-value transactions. With a strong presence across key global financial centres, the firm is known for delivering sophisticated, commercially driven advice on headline deals.

The opportunity sits within the firm’s sponsor-focused Finance group, where you will act for private equity sponsors and their affiliated portfolio companies, as well as leading direct lenders and investment funds. The role will see you advising on a broad range of leveraged and acquisition finance matters, including LBOs, recapitalisations, and event-driven financings, often with a cross-border element.
