Senior Claims Manager – FDD & P&I

Wadkins Associates are working in collaboration with a long-standing client in their search for a Senior Claims Manager for their London office.

The Club is a leading P&I insurer and has a reputation for delivering outstanding cover and commercial advice to its established membership. The position requires a strong knowledge of shipping-related incidents, with the role assuming responsibility for handling FD&D and P&I claims.

The team deals with both FD&D and P&I claims on behalf of a broad range of shipowner members. The suitable candidate will work on a wide range of disputes, allowing the opportunity to develop their skills and ensuring that no day is ever the same.

This is a senior hire for the Club, and in addition to claims management, there will be an opportunity to assist with training/mentoring, dealing with general enquiries from members, etc.

Our client is looking to hire a qualified shipping lawyer with a PQE of over five years. A background in FD&D is required from either a Club or private practice.
