As caseloads increase for the firm Wadkins Associates have been instructed on an exciting opportunity within a well-known and highly ranked international law firm who are specialists in the maritime markets. Our client is seeking a transactional shipping lawyer looking to move to their Hamburg office; a historic shipping hub.
Our client is keen to add to the already talented environment and contribute to the continual growth of the firm which is partner led and known for their in-depth knowledge, quality of results and that thrive in a familiar atmosphere. They regularly work with ship-owners, managers and investors; advising relating to ship-building, sale and purchase of second hand tonnage and registration matters in the maritime sector.
You will have a shipping and commercial background and therefore be knowledgeable on the sectors. Experience on registration matters, flag management as well as operation and management of ships is preferred; in addition to being comfortable working with major shipping groups, ports, terminals and M & A projects.
Our client are seeking a professional, German or England and Wales qualified associate with 2 - 3 years post qualification experience within the shipping industry and who are looking to grow dynamically in a collegial and friendly working environment. The candidate must perform in a confident manner, have strong communicative skills to interact with all levels of seniority and are ready to take an exciting step in their career.
