Wadkins Associates are excited to provide a new opportunity for a Shipping Litigation role for current trainees or a NQ lawyer.

The client has a global reputation for shipping, and pride themselves on having a number of offices worldwide. They are an ambitious, determined group of people who are eager to have a new addition to their team.

The work covers a broad range of disputes across shipping litigation, including advising charterparties and bills of lading. This role is ideal for a candidate with a keen interest in dry shipping.

We have worked closely with the head of the team and collectively have pinpointed some key advantages:

  • Good exposure: This shipping role provides a variety of interesting work, allowing the candidate to develop their skills on a daily basis.
  • Training and development: The client is expecting a NQ candidate, therefore is ready to work tightly with them to fully train them in preparation for the role. After initial on-site training, you will be able to work from home for up to three days a week.
  • Work-life balance: The team is very hard-working and love what they do, however work-life balance is very important to them, allowing a separation from work and leisure time.

Our client is looking for a NQ lawyer, or alternatively a candidate due to qualify in the upcoming August/September months. They are keen to hire a fresh perspective and allow a newly qualified lawyer to get stuck in to work.

If this role has piqued your interest, or you are curious about discussing the market in more detail, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
