Wadkins Associates has worked with our client over the past few years in the development of its in-house legal team. A UK based shipowner the company has quickly made a name for itself in the market, with a substantial fleet and a strong reputation for providing end to end solutions within the sector.

The team is now in the market for a paralegal. The role is quite unique. At a high level the role deals with sale and purchases of vessels but at the commercial level the individual will deal with the brokers and management; dovetailing into the legal side of the process.

The team is looking for someone that has gained some experience of sale and purchase transactions, and who also has an aptitude for numbers and strong analytical skills. Part of the role is to help management assess whether the purchase or sale makes financial sense.
