Asset Finance Associate

£78000 - £85000

Aviation finance is a valued and necessary element of the aviation industry. With airlines and lessors increasingly relying on finance to expand and modernise their fleets, being a finance lawyer is a rewarding and stimulating career. Our client is seeking a junior to mid-level asset finance associate to join them in London to contribute to their already strong and industry recognised practice.

In an ever-changing market, the asset finance sector has seen significant growth especially in London and as such the opportunity to work in a market-leading team with young and motivated partners is particularly unusual and exciting in equal measure. Our longstanding clients’ asset finance team are rising stars in the sector, and as such are looking for associates with the same drive and motivation to further propel their asset finance offering.

Our client is a premier international firm with an exceptionally strong asset finance practice. The team, led by an inspirational partner, is ranked as a top firm for aviation finance and leasing. The practice is exceptionally busy and acts for a vast array financiers and lessors across the market including both global institutions and airlines. Moreover, there is an opportunity to work with the firm’s market leading rail team.

The ideal candidate will have strong drafting abilities and be a robust negotiator. Our client is willing to offer the chosen candidate the opportunity to not only work within their strong practice but also to ultimately cultivate and grow their own following. The successful candidate therefore will be willing and able to cultivate excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients alike.

The ideal candidate will be an England and Wales aviation finance associate with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience gained from another leading international practice wanting to take an important move in their career. Additionally, experience in aviation finance is preferred, though not mandatory.
