One of the leading asset & project finance teams in Germany has been in contact with us about recruiting an associate into their team to ensure its practice continues to operate at the highest level.

We have been working with the partners of this firm over the past 12 months and have built a strong understanding of their team culture and client bases. You will be primarily involved in structured finance deals working on behalf of lessors, lessees, and financial institutions. The partners have particular expertise in aviation and advise and assist clients in a comprehensive range of transactional work, on both projects and assets in these industries. Indisputably the firm is one of the first ports of call for the biggest ticket transactions nationally and internationally.

After some discussion with the hiring partner, we consider the below to be among the main advantages of this role:

  • Work at the highest level: Very few firms can boast the reputation and caseload of our client. For any ambitious associate this is an opportunity to take the next step forward in your development, and work on the most significant cases on offer. You will also have the chance to broaden your capabilities by assisting the partners in areas such as satellites, and real estate.
  • Very competitive remuneration: To match the skill required of handling top-level transactions, our client values its associates at a very competitive rate.
  • Scope for progression: Alongside opportunities for training and development, the firm retains some of the best talent in the industry. Most partners have worked their way up internally, and it is this they are keen to perpetuate.

Our client is looking for lawyers of 2 + years PQE, who have a background in structure finance and restructuring, although broader banking and finance profiles will also be considered. England and Wales qualified lawyers will be at an advantage, but our client will happily receive applications from Common Law qualified candidates. German language skills are also not a necessity.

If the above takes your interest, and you would like to confidentially discuss this opportunity in further detail, or simply to discuss your options, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
