Despite recent turbulence in the global economic markets, France has retained its place as one of the world’s six largest economies. The shipping industry in Paris has significantly contributed to this, which has seen growth in both strength and size.

As a result of this growing market, our client is looking to add to their existing, exceptional team operating in Paris. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the leading firms in the asset finance industry, offering legal advice on high calibre legal work on a global scale. Possessing a formidable network of clients across the world; with offices in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai and more, this position will provide you with the chance to deal with a wide variety of international clients.

One of the leading asset & project finance teams in Germany has been in contact with us about recruiting an associate into their team to ensure its practice continues to operate at the highest level. 

We have been working with the partners of this firm over the past 12 months and have built a strong understanding of their team culture and client bases. You will be primarily involved in structured finance deals working on behalf of lessors, lessees, and financial institutions. The partners have particular expertise in aviation and advise and assist clients in a comprehensive range of transactional work, on both projects and assets in these industries. Indisputably the firm is one of the first ports of call for the biggest ticket transactions nationally and internationally.

We are working with an established client with deep roots in the shipping industry. They are looking to expand their ship finance practice in Greece in light of their growing business. We are looking to support them with the hire of a senior ship finance associate.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team in one of our client’s busiest offices. Your colleagues are friendly and driven, and you will be working with an internationally well-regarded Partner.

You will primarily be doing ship finance across loan agreements and sale & purchase agreements. However, you will have a little exposure to commercial work covering some due diligence for bonds.
