VACANCY DESCRIPTION
A top-billing partner from a longstanding client has moved to Singapore and is looking to hire two aviation finance lawyers to grow their aviation finance practice. We’ve worked closely with our client’s hiring partners through the years and will be able to assist you throughout the application process.
You will primarily be working on the lenders side, representing major banks and lessors. The partner you will be working with is not only well known in the market but has also created a culture of training and developing junior associates.
After some discussion with the hiring partner, we consider the following to be the main draws of this opportunity:
- Business Development. This will be a rare opportunity for junior associates to business develop from the start. For more ambitious senior lawyers, you can expect our client to support your business development plans.
- Work exposure. In addition to doing big-ticket aviation finance work, you will have the chance to broaden your experience by assisting the partners in ship finance or offshore finance.
- Positive work environment. The hiring partner is great to work with and has a record of providing mentorship and leadership for the team below him.
Our client is looking for lawyers of between NQ to 6 PQE who have a background in aviation finance, although banking finance candidates will also be considered. England and Wales qualified lawyers will be at an advantage but our client will happily receive applications from Common Law qualified candidates.
