Legal Counsel – VP

Wadkins Associates are working with a market leading lessor on an exciting opportunity for a Junior Vice President to join their team in Dublin. 

The lessor is a global leader in the aviation industry; with a strong presence in the international market, they represent a variety of clients from established airlines to emerging companies. With their extensive resources and industry expertise, this is a fantastic opportunity to reach new markets, and expand your expertise on a global scale. 

Your role will be to drive the firm’s commercial strategy, you’ll be responsible for negotiating, project managing, and executing a range of contracts, including leasing, trading, restructuring, and procurement. You will be a key player in ensuring successful transactions and delivering exceptional outcomes for their clients. 

• Great work: You will have the opportunity to work on intricate cross-border financing transactions. This exposure will enhance your knowledge and skills in global finance and broaden your understanding of the aviation industry.
• Team: You will collaborate with a diverse network of global professionals, including lawyers, advisors, and experts in the aviation industry. This will broaden your professional network, expose you to different legal frameworks, and enable you to learn from industry experts.
• Exposure: In this role, you will take a leading role in commercial negotiations with various industry players, including airlines, investors, financiers, OEMs, and other stakeholders. You will work closely with esteemed law firms to prepare and negotiate industry-leading documents. 

We are looking to speak with England & Wales or Irish qualified candidates with 2-4 years of experience, and a background in aviation financing.
