Wadkins Associates are assisting an international law firm with their search for a Junior to Mid-Level Offshore Lawyer to join their Transport team.

The team are currently expanding and keen to add a qualified Offshore Associate to their ranks. The team have worked on some of the largest offshore projects worldwide and have extensive experience in contentious work. You will be part of a market-leading, and still growing team, advising shipowners, shipbuilders and oil and gas companies.  

You will also have an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the broader aspects of the Transportation team, building your skills and knowledge in other areas such as shipping and commodities.

We work closely with the Partners in the team and can highlight some key advantages of joining their team:

  • Training and development: As the role does not require previous offshore experience, you will be given in-depth training in order to get you up to speed and able to apply your skills to this area.  
  • Variety: The Transportation team take on a wide variety of work, including shipping, marine insurance and commodities. Enjoy a breadth of work that doesn’t limit you to one area.  

The partners are seeking a 1-3 years England & Wales qualified lawyer. We are looking to speak to candidates with a background in dry shipping or offshore work. Although experience within the offshore sector is not required, but interest in offshore work is a must.
